According to data from the Lachstock Consulting report, in the 2022/2023 crop year, Australia exported 19.5 million tons of wheat, up 25% from the previous year.
Analysts expect grain exports to slow. At the end of the season, Australia’s wheat exports will reach 30 million tonnes.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Australia’s grain exports are mainly to China (reaching 691.6 thousand tons), Vietnam (reaching 410.6 thousand tons) and Indonesia (reaching 390.6 thousand tons). In which, wheat exports to China reached 102.7 thousand tons, the Philippines reached 39.8 thousand tons and Taiwan 32.1 thousand tons.
