Australian wheat imports into China to undergo “enhanced inspection”

Australian wheat imports into China will undergo “enhanced inspection” upon arrival in the latest escalation of tension between the two countries.

China’s customs administrator says all Australian wheat shipments will be rigorously reviewed for contaminants upon arrival.

The move follows an announcement seven days ago that China was freezing imports of barley from WA giant, CBH.
